The erstwhile North West Premier, Dr Simon Popo Molefe, bestowed on him with the prestigious Batho Pele Award in recognition of outstanding performance in transforming service delivery.
He has a qualifications diploma in Business Communication. After almost three decades, he chose to resign from the SAPS and focusing his efforts on writing and on the residential properties business.
